Rollin', rollin', rollin'

Ellie is a rollin'!

Miss Elizabeth finally made it over from her back to her tummy last week. She makes it to her side quite frequently, but couldn't get over her arm. Well, the toys on her baby gym were enough incentive to get her to reach a little more and make it all the way over. She was so pleased with herself and was not appreciative when Mom flipped her back over to do it again. Pretty soon she will be rolling across the floor causing trouble in Ben's previously baby free zone!

TASM

The first weekend in June we headed to the Tulsa Air and Space Museum with our dear friend Mickey to celebrate his birthday. None of the McCulloughs had been to the museum before. We were impressed with their great collection of aircraft, photographs, engines and other air and space memorabilia. There was also a great area with hands on kid activities. Ben was too small to understand the concepts that were being taught, but he loved watching the experiments and helping to do some of the tasks. We also went to a planetarium show. It was geared towards kids so Ben stayed fairly interested. It was pretty close to nap though so he got tired near the end. He sat through all 45 minutes of it though and later recounted what he saw in the "rocket movie". We will definitely keep this on our list of places to come back to as the kids get older. Ben is already planning his next purchase at the gift shop!

The Library

Ben and Elizabeth got to go to the library for the first time over the weekend. Ben has been reading Curious George Goes to the Library a lot lately and Mom wanted to do the summer reading program, so it was the perfect time for a visit.

Ben could not believe how many books there were and that we got to borrow more than just one. He picked out two Arthur books, a Dr. Seuss and a Rosemary Wells book. We had them all read on the first night, but you can be sure we will be re-reading them many times before we take them back.

Who knew so much fun could be had for free!
